Sisters in Sync is a series of workshops organised to help black women to explore practical emotional regulation strategies for wellbeing and wellness. The workshops will cover the following core areas:

Workshop 1- Holding space and thinking about beliefs
This workshop will gently explore the hidden beliefs we often carry, those that hold us back, and make it hard to trust ourselves as we move forward. Together, we’ll learn how to identify these beliefs and begin building practical strategies to break free from them, creating space for growth and self-trust.
Workshop 2- Befriending ourselves
This workshop invites us to explore how we create space within ourselves to better trust our own energy. Do we respond to life’s challenges automatically, without pause? Together, we’ll gently reflect on these patterns, with compassion and kindness, so we can begin to find greater peace within ourselves.
Workshop 3- Expanding connection
Building on the previous workshop, this session will help us deepen the compassion and self-love we've cultivated, so we can begin to form meaningful connections with others.
As part of a community proposal to the Lawrence Walker Gallery, we were able to win three dates in summer to help provide greater access to therapeutic services. Through Uplift with Her this service will be subsidised to promote therapeutic practices within Black community spaces in Colchester and Essex.
